History

Reliance Shipping Services, was founded by Capt. Moahmmed Abul Khair, after serving  22 years in international seagoing vessels. Leaving the sea behind, he involved himself with various shipping services works at shore. Upon gaining experience in the field, he decided to establish his own shipping services company, as he realized Bangladesh has all the potentials to serve the Intl. Ship owners. 

Therefore, he founded a crewing company during the 90’s in Bangladesh. Along the path, Reliance has worked with many industry leading companies, and still relentlessly serving them. We now have the largest pool of the most skilled, efficient, and highly professional Bangladeshi seafarers, who have experiences of working with reputed global shipping companies. Not only that, serving our clients promptly and sincerely have made us the number one choice for crewing in Bangladesh.

In our long journey, serving the marine sector, we have also developed our capacity in  market areas, such as, Port Agency Services and S&P brokerage.
